ACC Tournment: Day 2

The games get more interesting and more important today as the ACC quarterfinals get going. Virginia Tech and Maryland, in some ways, are still fighting for their tournament lives and could use a couple of victories to help their case. That should, at the least, create some interesting games today.

Virginia Tech takes on top-seed Carolina in the first game of the day, followed by 12 seed Georgia Tech, who beat fifth-seeded Clemson Thursday, facing off against fourth-seeded Florida State.

In the evening session No. 7 Maryland takes on second seed Wake Forest and sixth-seed Boston College faces off against third seed Duke.

I don't really know what to think of today's games. I feel like all of the lower seeds (yes, Georgia Tech too) have a good chance to win if they play well. Should be fun.

I'll post game summaries...Check back later on.
