The discussion of Ty Lawson's hurt toe, which I initially thought was complete horse crap, may have a little more truth than anyone realized.
With 7:39 left in Carolina's game against Virginia Tech, Lawson has yet to touch the floor. And it isn't like the Tar Heels are whipping the Hokies and don't need Lawson. Carolina is trailing by one at the moment 68-67.
It will be interesting to see what happens if UNC wins and moves on. If they play well, does Roy continue to rest Lawson. He may say the ACC Tournament isn't a goal, but you have to believe it is important enough for him to want to win.
