Duke beats Boston College, barely

Not really a bug surprise in this one as far Duke getting the win. The Blue Devils got a 66-65 win over the sixth-seeded Eagles and move on to face Maryland in the semis Saturday.

Boston College played well in a very sloppy and slow first half, but the Blue Devils superior players helped the team pull away and build a lead which it sustained through the majority of the second half. At that point it looked like Duke might run away and hide, but the Eagles made a late push to get close and had a shot at the buzzer to win. But Rakim Sanders' jumper at the horn bounced off the iron and punched Duke's ticket to the semis.

Duke didn't look great, but it got the win and that's all that matters at times.

Day two is in the books. Check back tomorrow for more.
