Georgia Tech 86, Clemson 81

Well the Georgia Dome definitely heated up during the second game of the afternoon as the Yellow Jackets knocked off the No. 5 seeded Tigers from Clemson.

Ga. Tech played well throughout the game, building a 13 point lead with 4 minutes remaining. The teams were tied at halftime at 39 apiece, but Tech played well the entire second half and looked in control for much of it.

Clemson made a late push with the help of Terrence Oglesby three pointers and a couple of missed free throws by Tech. But the Jackets held up and held on for the big win.

Lewis Clinch was ridiculous, scoring 32 points and hitting five three pointers. Gani Lawal also had a big game, scoring 20 points and hauling in 14 rebound. Clemson had six players in double figures, but simply could not play with the Jackets on this day.

Good game for sure.

Now I can officially look forward to the "game of the day."

I'll be back later with a live game blog...
