Hokies 65, 'Canes 47

Virginia Tech led throughout and dominated much of the action during the first game of the day. 

Jack McClinton could only score nine points, which doomed Miami from the start. Virginia Tech's Malcolm Delaney took 15 free throws, making 14 on his way to scoring 17 points. 

The 'Canes simply could not come out of their late season slump for whatever reason. Not an overly exciting game because of how poorly Miami played. Hopefully the action will pick from here on out.
