Duke 67, Maryland 61

The Blue Devils wore down Maryland in this one, pulling away late with the help of one of those patented Duke runs which puts the Devils in position to win games.

This particular run, which was a 9-0 spurt late in the second half, put Duke up 13 with five minutes remaining.

John Scheyer was great, especially in the second half. He finished with 22 points and hit four three's. Kyle Singler wasn't bad either. The wing man tallied a double double and also chipped in three assists, two blocks and a steal.

If today is any indication of what tomorrow's final will be like, I can't wait. Today's action was amazing.

Check back later for more about today, including my one on one time with FSU coach Leonard Hamilton, and a preview of tomorrow.
